Cyclist asks judge to show compassion to Brisbane driver who tried to run him down

Shelley Anne Alabaster hurled racist abuse at bike rider before pursuing him in her 4WD and striking him from behind

A cyclist was so scared as Shelley Anne Alabaster revved her four-wheel drive while pursuing him that he started dry-retching, a Brisbane court has heard.

However, Alabaster was on Tuesday released on parole after the cyclist pleaded for his tormentor to be shown compassion in an extraordinary" statement.
