Boy, 5, dies after being recovered from River Thames

Police had launched appeal for information on whereabouts of Daniel Alaby earlier on Friday

A boy has died in hospital after being found in the River Thames.

A police appeal was launched to find Daniel Alaby, aged five, on Friday. He had gone missing from his home in Thamesmead, south-east London.
