Russia exploits Ukraine air defense shortages to cripple energy infrastructure

With supply shortages softening Ukraine's air defense capabilities, Russia has in recent weeks been targeting a more exposed Ukrainian power grid. Airstrikes have targeted major power plants around cities including Kyiv and Kharkiv.
