Are you wondering if you can take transit to your 4th of July BBQ or a fireworks show? We've gathered information on transit service across the region as announced by operators over the last several days.

Sound Transit1 Line

The 1 Line is running a modified version of Sunday service all day, and you can find the full schedule on Sound Transit's website. trains will run every 15 minutes after 11pm until around 2 AM; typical Sunday service ends around midnight.

The last northbound train will depart Angle Lake Station at 1:42 AM and arrive in Northgate at 2:39 AM. The last southbound train will depart Northgate Station at 1:55 AM and arrive in Angle Lake at 2:52 AM.

2 Line

The schedule of extended service for the 2 Line is also on Sound Transit's website. Trains will run every 10 minutes all day until about midnight; typical service ends before 10 PM.

The last train from South Bellevue will depart at 11:32 PM, stop in Bellevue Downtown at 11:39 AM, and arrive at Redmond Technology at 11:52 PM. The last train from Redmond Technology will depart at 11:35 PM, stop in Bellevue Downtown at 11:48 PM, and arrive at South Bellevue at 11:55 PM.

Sound Transit noted in their news release: Free parking is available at South Bellevue, BelRed and Redmond Technology stations. Several stations are accessible from theEastrailcorridor and the regional trail network. Secure bike parking is available at every station.

ST Express, T Line, and Sounder Service

ST Express buses and the T Line in Tacoma are operating on their Sunday schedules on the 4th of July, but Sounder rail service is not operating.

King County Metro

Metro is running on Sunday schedule, with reroutes planned several areas due to events, such as parades and local festivals in several cities and neighborhoods of Seattle. Check Metro's Service Advisories page for impacts to your route and consider using the Trip Planner in case third-party apps don't update with the service changes.

Metro has not said if it will be adding trips added around South Lake Union to help address expected crowding associated with Seafair's fireworks display over Lake Union like it did last year; expect crowding and delays in the area.

Seattle Streetcars

The South Lake Union Streetcar will operate extended service hours, with the last train departing Westlake towardLake Union Park at 9:45 PM.No trains will operate during the Lake Union fireworks display, 10:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. After the fireworks are finished, extra streetcars will be running with the last trip to downtown Seattle leaving Lake Union Park at about 11:15 p.m.

Water Taxi & Ferries

TheWest Seattle route of the King County Water Taxiis running on its Sunday schedule, and the Vashon routeis running its regular weekday schedule.

Most of the WA state ferry routes are running typical weekday service (Seattle Times [$]), with some changes, but the Seattle-Bainbridge Island and Fauntleroy-Vashon-Southworth routes are operating on their weekend schedules. Schedules are available here.

Snohomish County - Community Transit

All Community Transit and DART routes are operating on standard Sunday schedules throughout the day.

The Zip Alderwood shuttle is operating typical weekday service from 5 AM to 10 PM.

Pierce Transit

All Pierce Transit services are running on Sunday schedule.

Kitsap Transit

No Kitsap Transit service are operating today, including bus service, DART, local ferries, or fast ferries.

Other Operators

Most other operators are running either weekend or Sunday service in observance of the holiday; check your local transit provider's website for service alerts or details.
