Inquests into the deaths of the three girls stabbed in the Southport knife attack have been opened and adjourned to allow criminal justice proceedings to take place, as a coroner said it was impossible to adequately articulate the devastating, lifelong effects" of the killings.
Bebe King, six, Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, died after the stabbing at Hart Space in Southport, Merseyside, on 29 July.
