Routine' job that turned fatal would not have been initiated had NSW police passed on threatening emails to Queensland colleagues, court told

A Queensland police officer who sent four colleagues to the Wieambilla property where two of them were killed has told the inquest into the shootings she would not have done so had she been given emails sent to New South Wales police that contained threats to law enforcement made by Gareth Train.

Constables Matthew Arnold and Rachel McCrow were killed at the Wieambilla estate on 12 December 2022 by Stacey, Gareth and Nathaniel Train. The trio later killed their neighbour Alan Dare before they were gunned down by police.
