Israel reactions to prime minister's speech and strike on south Beirut

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a defiant speech at the United Nations headquarters in New York. He said the Israeli military will do what it needs to do to degrade Hezbollah in Lebanon until Israelis can return safely to their homes in the north. Soon after he finished speaking, news broke about a major Israeli strike in Beirut.
