Dinosaur science turns two centuries old

The year 2024 marks 200 years since the first dinosaur was named. Naturalist William Buckland identified a Megalosaurus, or the "great lizard", in a lecture in London in 1824, marking the beginning of dinosaur science. Last winter, Host Carolyn Beeler spoke with archeologist Steve Brusatte about how far dinosaur science has come and what we're still learning about these creatures from the past.
