Airlines want to resume flying over Afghanistan, but that means paying the Taliban

Some flights are now crossing over Afghanistan to avoid potential safety risks of flying over other nearby countries. According to a story published Thursday by Reuters, airlines must therefore navigate sanctions to pay the Taliban for access the country's airspace.
