For the millions of people in the UK employed in industries where weekend working is the norm, the X feeds of MPs in Westminster may be a little hard to stomach.

For while doctors, nurses, hospitality workers and, yes, journalists regularly put the hours in while others are enjoying their weekends, they rarely feel the need to take a selfie on the commute to prove it.
