WMO forecasts an even hotter future

The World Meteorological Society latest annual report projects global temperatures will climb to record highs over the next five years - including the increasing likelihood that temperatures will breach the 1.5 degrees Celsius threshold considered necessary to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.
