Poland's EU minister Adam Szapka, who led the country's EU presidency from January, will become the new chief government spokesperson, prime minister Donald Tusk has announced.

The move comes ahead of a broader government reshuffle after the ruling pro-European coalition's defeat in the presidential election earlier this month.
