The findings, based on the analysis of human fossils in a Moroccan cave dating back nearly 800,000 years possibly shift the focus from Europe back to the African continent. The fossils, mainly jawbones, carry traits of both modern humans and primitive species such as Neanderthals. And they roughly match earlier findings in Northern Spain.
