Where do youth in Bangladesh stand on election day?

Nationwide protests in Bangladesh managed to bring an end to years of repressive rule by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in 2024. Those demonstrations were led by young people, many of them students. They had high hopes for bringing democratic change to Bangladesh. But where do they stand now, as the country voted on Thursday in one of the the most consequential elections in the country's history?
