One man's attempt to protect his newspaper from the Taliban

Before the Taliban took control of Afghanistan in the summer of 2021, Zaki Daryabi was editor-in-chief of the influential, independent newspaper Etilaat Roz. He attempted to stay, working from his office in Kabul, but ultimately he made the decision to leave.
