National Geographic Explorer traveling a thousand miles by kayak

National Geographic Explorer Paul Salopek has been sea kayaking his way down the Inside Passage, a network of straits, fjords and islands spanning much of the northwestern coastline of North America. It's the latest chapter in his global walking project, the Out of Eden Walk. Salopek joined Marco Werman to talk about the help he's received to make this sea trip possible, and how he had to change his approach to storytelling.
