A Shameless Request for Votes
But more about Donald Trump later. The Expert Institute is running a contest for Best Legal Blog, and I've known this for a while now but I sort of assumed that they were really only interested in blogs written by actual experts in a useful field. (I am one of those, of course, but you know what I mean.) But today, which is unfortunately the last day of the contest, I noticed two things: (1) they do in fact have a category for "niche and specialty" blogs, and (2) the phrase CASH PRIZES.
These factors have caused me to re-evaluate whether I should bother you with this, and as you can see, after much consideration the answer I finally arrived at was YES.
According to the site, the winners are determined by the number of nominations each blog receives. You do need to give them your email address (or an email address, anyway, not that I'm suggesting anything), but the form is very short. So if you have approximately .01 hours to spare today-and it would have to be today-and are willing to waste it filling out this form, that would be cool and I would be grateful.
As you know, I am (almost) fully compensated for my work on this thing by its self-entertainment value and the kind feedback I so often receive from you, the reader. So I will be donating any prize I win to charity.
