Windows 10 to become 'recommended update' in Windows Update

Early next year, we expect to be re-categorizing Windows 10 as a "Recommended Update". Depending upon your Windows Update settings, this may cause the upgrade process to automatically initiate on your device. Before the upgrade changes the OS of your device, you will be clearly prompted to choose whether or not to continue. And of course, if you choose to upgrade (our recommendation!), then you will have 31 days to roll back to your previous Windows version if you donit love it.We don't think twice about updating to new operating systems releases on smartphones of tablets, but on PCs, we always get really uppity about it. I think it's pretty irresponsible to continue using outdated software that isn't receiving security updates anymore (is Windows 7 in that category yet?), but at the same time, it is your machine, and if you want to run insecure software - well, be my guest.Still, I hope every single Windows installation moves to Windows 10 soon, especially those still using dreadful Windows XP.
