The Bank of England governor didn't have a care in the world as he purred his way through a meeting with the Treasury select committee
It is a trademark Canadian drawl that elides not just words and sentences, but decades too.
"Thepressureonindependencegloballyhasincreasedpleasedtosaynationalauditofficeoversightpolicyoperationalletmegotodifficultyfirstentranceriskoftaileventsheadwindsdissipateinterestratesmorestimulative," purred Mogadon "Manana" Mark Carney.
