Get ready to flip all over again.2019 was the breakout year for folding phones, with devices like the Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X coming to market. The Galaxy Fold, in particular, gets a lot of publicity for being the first folding phone you could go out and easily buy in the U.S.However, if you ask a lot of people, they'd probably argue with you and say that the Galaxy Fold isn't the most critical folding phone Samsung's released to date. Instead, that title belongs to the Galaxy Z Flip. While the Fold may have been the first folding phone to hit U.S. store shelves, the Z Flip is the first foldable with a mainstream appeal — specifically, it's much easier to buy, is widely available at carriers, and costs considerably less than the Fold. The Galaxy Z Flip will easily stand out as one of the best phones to have come out in 2020, and before you know it, its successor will be upon us. If you're ready to learn everything there is to know about the Galaxy Z Flip 2, you've come t...

Too much information? Maybe, butt I'm sure I'm not alone. That's why I like office chairs that have some or all of their surface covered in a mesh material to allow for greater airflow an...

If you're going prepaid, you can certainly try to bring your own device to Verizon — though Big Red is notoriously pretty strict about which phones it'll allow. Many unlocked phones aren't even compatible with its network. Otherwise, Verizon has a selection of prepaid phones that you can purchase directly. The Galaxy Note 10 is the best of the best on Verizon Prepaid, but there are plenty of other great options to choose from.Best Overall: Samsung Galaxy Note 10There are few phones more well-rounded and versatile than the Galaxy Note 10. However, it hasn't specified just how far back that will go. PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan has spoken about backward compatibility before, but it's been strictly about the PlayStation 4. Because the company is looking into it, however, many are wondering if PlayStation 2 or PS3 titles will also be supported.Adding to the rumors are the facts that Sony has filed patents related to backward compatibility, leading many to believe that the next PlayStation will offer it with every past PlayStation console. The patent itself is for an emulation software that would allow the PS5 to mimic older consoles. Still, it's important t...

Best answer: Yes, the Cowin E7's ear pads are easily replaceable, but not without some risk to the headphones themselves, and potentially voiding the warranty.Make it new(ish): Damex Replacement Ear Pad Cushions ($12 at Amazon)Stop the noise: COWIN E7 ($60 at Amazon)How to replace the Cowin E7 ear padsThe Cowin E7 Bluetooth headphones are some of the most popular wireless headphones on Amazon and for a good reason. With a decent sound, a reasonable price, and features like NFC pairing that other more expensive options lack, it's easy to see why. However, just because the headphones aren't overly expensive doesn't mean that you're going to want just to toss them into the trash because the ear pads lose their luster.Even though Cowin may not specifically offer replacement ear pads or support the removal of the original pads, there are options from third parties available. Still the best phone in Samsung's lineup.Samsung did the Galaxy S20+ a disservice by positioning it as a somewhat awkward in-between model within its current lineup, priced above the entry-level S20 but not quite as grandiose as the S20 Ultra. It may not have the latter's 100X Space Zoom camera, but that also means it avoids that camera's various problems.I've said from the beginning that the Galaxy S20+ is the best phone within Samsung's trio of early 2020 flagships, and nearly half a year later, I still wholeheartedly stand by that statement. While it certainly isn't as pocket-friendly as the smaller S20, it offers just about everything you could ask for in a modern flagship and does so with virtually zero compromises. At a glanceSamsung Galaxy S20+ Bottom line: Just weeks ahead of the Galaxy Note 20, the S20+ is still o...

If your Wi-Fi at home is busted or you want to make a change, which should you buy?Mesh Wi-Fi networks are the new thing, and that's great because mesh networks can put fast Wi-Fi where you need it without getting complicated. There are some great products available that are easy to set up and keep running, including Nest Wifi and an Eero system. Setting up your own mesh Wi-Fi network is simple, thanks to consumer gear that does the hard work for you. However, "regular" Wi-Fi routers and access points are getting better, too. Faster speeds and more extended range are more than buzzwords when it comes to buying the latest Wi-Fi router, and you'll often find advanced tools that a simple mesh system can't offer. That leads to the obvious question — should anyone switch to a mesh-based Wi-Fi network in their house? Like most things, the answer isn't a simple yes or no. There are a couple of things you should consider before you dust off your credit card.More: Google Wifi vs. Orbi...

If you are physically able to, standing while working — even in short spurts — is one of the best things you can do for your health. The trouble with standing desks is that they are often expensive and replace otherwise perfectly good office furniture. In just a few short years, big phones have gone from being an outlier to the norm in the smartphone industry. Just about every major device that's released these days has a larger physical size, and while that's great for watching movies and playing games, it can be a challenge for those of us that prefer our phones to be small and compact. Thankfully, there are still plenty of options out there — including the Google Pixel 3a as our top overall pick.Best Overall: Google Pixel 3aFirst on the list, we've got the Google Pixel 3a. We've championed the Pixel 3a as being one of the best Android deals ever since it first came out back in May 2019, and over a year later, it still holds up as an excellent small phone. The 5.6-inch display size is downright tiny by today's industry standards, and with an OLED panel and Full HD+ resolution, it's a joy to look at.The big highlight of the Pixel 3a is its rear camera, which takes gorgeous photos. The single 12.2MP sensor may not sound i...

An LG G9 by a different name. With so many phones that are released during a given year, it only makes sense for some of them to slip between the cracks. Companies get fiercer, prices get more competitive, and those that aren't truly amazing often get left to the wayside.Unfortunately, that seems to have been the case for LG for the last few years. The company makes solid devices, but a handful of quirks or missteps keep them from achieving true greatness.2020 is here, and this time around, we have the LG Velvet (aka the successor to 2019's LG G8). This is the phone we were expecting to be called the LG G9, but LG wanted to do something a bit different rather than a traditional year-over-year upgrade. Is the Velvet what the company needs to turn things around? Here's everything you need to know about the phone!Silky smoothLG Velvet$599 at AT&TThe 2020 LG flagship tries something differentLG tried something bolder than usual with the Velvet, and while it didn't...

Amazon's Prime Day 2020 event isn't likely to happen in July this year for the first time since it came about. Rumors suggest that Amazon is pushing it back until October, following issues the company faced during the COVID-19 outbreak. While unfortunate, it makes sense for Amazon to delay the event for several reasons. Consumers are affected by the economic slowdown, lots of people lost jobs during the outbreak, and supply chains are still affected by everything. While it would be awesome to have a small sense of normalcy and have Prime Day happen during July, it doesn't look like that's what will happen this year. The delay could potentially change a lot of things about Prime Day 2020, especially with how much closer it pushes the event towards Black Friday and the holiday shopping season. There are a lot of unanswered questions at this point like what is this rumored Summer Sale that people are talking about, when will Prime Day be announced and take place, and should you buy on ...
