The Jets' undrafted rookie quarterback was unexpectedly thrown into action midway through the first quarter of Sunday's home loss to the Dolphins.

With Tyrod Taylor and Justin Fields both ruled out, the Jets announced that rookie QB Brady Cook will start on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
