GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) The banged-up Green Bay Packers have lost another key player to injury with outside linebacker Nick Perry scheduled to have hand surgery.Coach Mike McCarthy says he doesn't know how much time Perry will miss. He was off to a good start as the bookend to fellow edge rusher Clay Matthews with 1+ sacks. The Packers' first-round draft pick in 2012, Perry had a breakout 2016 last season with 11 sacks in 14 games. The loss of Perry places added importance on the return of Ahmad Brooks, who was a full participant in practice on Wednesday after missing the Week 2 loss at Atlanta because of a concussion.Brooks was signed by the Packers after the 49ers cut the veteran pass rusher before the regular season. Brooks had 51+ sacks in eight seasons with the 49ers.''I think he's a great fit for what we're doing,'' McCarthy said before practice on Thursday. ''So his role will definitely be bigger this week.''Brooks said on Wednesday that he was 100 percent and had full clearance to do everything in practice in preparation for Sunday's game against the winless Cincinnati Bengals.''It's not frustrating. It's just unfortunate,'' Brooks said about being hurt so soon after joining Green Bay. ''I really wanted to come here and show what I was all about from the jump and that's the very first game of the season.''Now Brooks, second-year player Kyler Fackrell and rookie Chris Odom, who just joined the Packers a couple of weeks ago, will be counted on to help fill in for Perry.McCarthy called Perry a ''violent football player.''''He's physical, he plays the game the right way. If you look at his play style, I mean that's really part of his game, the violence that he plays with, with his hands,'' the coach said.McCarthy also said that the team has brought back defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois, who was just cut by the Packers last week. The veteran will help add depth up front with standout lineman Mike Daniels dealing with a hip injury.Perry and Daniels were two of 13 players on Green Bay's lengthy injury report this week. Besides the return of Brooks, the Packers did get some good news on Wednesday with receiver Jordy Nelson (quad) and right tackle Bryan Bulaga (ankle) returning to practice as full participants.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. The NFL made big strides to grow the game internationally in 2017, signing a lucrative digital rights partnership to stream games in China. The agreement was seen as a way for the league to gain traction toward playing a game in China, but NFL international head Mark Waller said that will take some more time.“I don’t think it’ll be ’18. I don’t think we’re ready,†said Waller, according to SI.com's Albert Breer.Waller said the league is focused on trying to get people playing American football in China. The NFL's goal is to build viewership in China, but the time difference poses a significant challenge with games being played in the middle of the night.Waller emphasized that the NFL doesn't want to go play a one-off game with no long-term plan.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Matt Williamson is a former scout for the Cleveland Browns and spent 10 years at ESPN as a scout and co-host of "The Football Today Podcast." Find him on Twitter @WilliamsonNFL.One of the absolute hardest offenses to watch in 2016 has emerged as one of the most fun through two games this season. The Los Angeles Rams have put up a whopping 66 points so far, but have just a 1-1 record to show for it after a tough loss to the Washington Redskins that featured a terrible late-game interception from Jared Goff. But don't pin the blame on the young quarterback. The Redskins are the team most familiar with Sean McVay's brand of offense, the Rams couldn’t stop the run, and the first-time head coach didn’t show the best clock management at crucial times. In fact, Goff looks like a totally different player from his rookie year. He deserves a lot of credit for the offensive turnaround, along with McVay and the Rams' organization as a whole.See also: Is Rams' McVay getting the credit he deserves?Nearly everything the team has done since the 2016 season ended has been geared toward making Goff's transition to the NFL easier and successful. This is what good organizations do with highly drafted quarterbacks. McVay, who along with Jay Gruden, absolutely got the most out of Kirk Cousins in Washington, was the perfect hire for Goff, and stands in stark contrast to what Jeff Fisher brought in this regard.Los Angeles didn’t stop there, also bringing in established offensive linemen in Andrew Whitworth and John Sullivan. Not only are both already paying dividends on the field, but their veteran leadership is surely paying off as part of an otherwise young unit.(Photo courtesy: Getty Images)The Rams also got Goff what's now a very respectable group of receivers to throw to. Sammy Watkins is the biggest name, but Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Josh Reynolds, and Gerald Everett all bring distinct similarities to the setup surrounding Cousins in Washington. The Redskins used a ton of multiple tight-end sets with McVay running the offense, and Everett is being groomed as another Jordan Reed. He complements another youngster, Tyler Higbee, well in this regard, as they've seen the field a lot together.Watkins is the big-play guy in the DeSean Jackson mold, but he's a more well-rounded wide receiver and might be closer to A.J. Green, who Gruden had in Cincinnati, in his ability to take over a game. Watkins' numbers haven’t been superb with the Rams yet, but he looks great on tape and could be on the verge of an explosion as soon as this Thursday Night in San Francisco.Los Angeles is throwing deep quite a bit this year, often off play-action (which worked so very well in Washington), and Watkins is sure to reap those benefits sooner than later. The Redskins comparisons go even further, with Woods playing the role of Pierre Garcon and Kupp as a similar weapon to Jamison Crowder. All of these supporting-cast members have played well and are fitting in with Goff nicely. The quarterback has also been an excellent distributor of the football.Five Rams have caught at least four passes over this two-game opening stretch - including running back Todd Gurley, who's been adeptly reinvented into a premium weapon in the short passing game. As you might have guessed, that too is a very Goff-friendly development. In McVay’s scheme, Goff has a lot of defined reads and the route combinations utilize the talent at hand very well. The running game and passing attack feed off one another, without demanding too much from the quarterback position. Still, Goff isn’t just making easy dump-offs and has already completed plenty of difficult throws at all levels of the defense.Goff and the Rams' offense are for real. This isn’t smoke and mirrors, but instead great coaching and a lot of young talent that should develop together. Of course there will be further growing pains, especially for Goff, but what we've seen thus far has been extremely encouraging. Expect that to continue Thursday night.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. All rights reserved. Certain content reproduced under license.

The fantasy football community continues to agonize over the loss of David Johnson. The Arizona Cardinals running back was likely the first or second pick in fantasy drafts around the globe, but after dislocating his left wrist in Week 1, Johnson is likely to miss two-to-three months of action. While fantasy managers are scrambling to cope with his absence, the real-life superstar couldn't care less."No, no, that's the last thing," Johnson said Wednesday, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN. "Fantasy is the last thing on my mind right now."Besides recovering in time to make an impact late in the Cardinals' season, Johnson has other priorities to tend to, including his 8-month-old son."I can't really carry him," he said of holding his child while wearing a cast. Myles Garrett's pro debut was postponed when he suffered a sprained right ankle just days before the start of the regular season, but every passing day, the Cleveland Browns get closer to unveiling the draft's No. 1 overall pick. So, how close is Garrett to finally seeing NFL action?"Close," head coach Hue Jackson said.Jackson was asked at his Wednesday press conference if the defensive end out of Texas A&M would play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts."I'm not going to say that. Let's just see where he is, but he is getting there," Jackson responded. "There is huge progress that has been made so hopefully, we will see where he is."The Browns drafted Garrett with the intention of rebuilding a defense that ranked second from the bottom last season in yards allowed per game and sacks. Garrett had 31 sacks in his three-year college career.Through two games without the 6-foot-4 end with an 82-inch wingspan, the Browns currently rank 18th in total defense and have just three quarterback sacks.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. "My expectations are to play, but you don't know what can happen between now and then. The NFL appears to be testing just how much people love football this year with its Thursday schedule, as this week's matchup is about as bad as can be.That's really saying something considering Week 2's slopfest between the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals, but tonight's contest sees the San Francisco 49ers host the Los Angeles Rams.Much like last week, it's probably best just to avoid touching this one, but if you must, the visitors are the side to roll with.Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) at San Francisco 49ersThe shine on Jared Goff and the Rams from their opening week beatdown of the Indianapolis Colts certainly didn't last long. After the former No. 1 overall pick looked solid in Week 1, the Washington Redskins forced him to a 15-for-25 passing performance for just 224 yards and an interception. While Todd Gurley had his moments, it wasn't enough to see the Rams get a second home win to start the season.Luckily for head coach Sean McVay and the Rams, the 49ers await in a perfect spot to help get them back on track. If San Francisco had competent quarterback play Sunday in Seattle, it likely would have walked away with a shocking win. Unfortunately for new head coach Kyle Shanahan, Brian Hoyer couldn't get anything going against the Seahawks, finishing with just 99 yards passing and an interception. It's unlikely that the veteran pivot fixes things in such a short week, so expect a heavy dose of Carlos Hyde on Thursday. If the Rams defense can limit the rushing attack, they should handle this road test with flying colors. Look for Aaron Donald to step up on the line, and Gurley to have a big day as Los Angeles improves to 2-1. Rams 20, 49ers 13Thursday picks record: 2-0Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. The Los Angeles Rams were met with both skepticism and intrigue when they hired Sean McVay as their head coach on Jan. 12, at the ripe old age of 30.McVay became the youngest head coach in NFL history, and many believed he would be overwhelmed in his new position, solely based off his age. To league-wide surprise, the Rams have looked better than anticipated through their first two games, routing the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1, while dropping a close decision to the Washington Redskins in Week 2.However, is McVay getting the credit he deserves through Week 2? If he were a wunderkind as a player and submitted an excellent debut, McVay would be atop national headlines everywhere - look no further than Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Kareem Hunt dominating the water cooler discussion. Head coaches seldom get name brand recognition, but McVay already may be the Rams' best asset.Todd Gurley entered the year as one of the NFL's most polarizing players, taking the league by storm during his Pro Bowl rookie year in 2015, while faltering miserably last season. Gurley looks completely reinvigorated under his new head coach's tutelage, scoring touchdowns in consecutive games. With eight receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown, Gurley is on pace to obliterate his previous-best receiving totals, a sign that points to McVay getting the most out of his mercurial talent. At 23, Gurley could reenter the conversation surrounding the NFL's best running back and he would be remiss to forget McVay if he helps actualize his potential.McVay has proven deft in dealing with the egos and portentous demands of the modern athlete in his short tenure. Aaron Donald, the Rams' best defensive player by a gargantuan margin, held out through the summer while demanding a new contract. It's a scenario that could've rattled the resolve of veteran head coaches, but McVay calmly stood his ground, winning a game of chicken with the three-time Pro Bowler. Donald missed the team's opener after returning days before the season, but is now back with the team without further incident. Relative youth alone doesn't connote an inability to make tough decisions.Former Rams head coach Mike Martz made waves when he insinuated that McVay's hiring was only to appease Jared Goff, arguing that the young quarterback needed a buddy, in diametric opposition to Jeff Fisher, who was fired before the end of the 2016 campaign. McVay shook the criticism off politely and kept marching forward, once again starkly contrasting the feud Fisher was embroiled in with Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson last year. Under the bright lights of Hollywood, McVay is blocking out all distractions like a seasoned pro.Don't look now, but the Rams are in prime position to capitalize on an NFC West that is weaker than it has been in nearly a decade. Russell Wilson is running for dear life behind a dreadful Seahawks' offensive line, the 49ers are still in the elementary stages of a full-scale rebuild, while the Cardinals appear miles away from the team that went to the 2015 NFC title game.McVay is a phenom and it's worth celebrating his positive effects on a scrappy Rams team that could very well be atop the division by end of year.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman ripped into the NFL for what he believes to be the disingenuous handling of injury reports.Sherman was listed as questionable on the Seahawks' injury report with a hamstring injury prior to suiting up for their Week 2 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.Last season, the NFL investigated the Seahawks for potentially not disclosing a knee injury which Sherman played through. The Seahawks were issued a warning but no further sanction.Sherman believes the injury reports are purposefully designed to mislead the public about player injuries."I guess from what I understand the rules are for gamblers, for Vegas to make sure the odds and everything are what they are supposed to be, which is apparently what the league is concerned about when talking about injuries and things like that,†Sherman said via Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. "So maybe someone should look into that, because I thought we weren’t a gambling league or were against all of those things. But our injury report is specifically to make sure the gamblers get their odds right."Sherman added that the injury reports are "meaningless on paper"."They've got to put that his ankle is sore, his hip is sore or he’s got a bruise on his hand. Thursday Night Football has drawn no shortage of complaints from players, coaches, and fans for providing teams with too little time to prepare for games. The one positive for some players is that it can offer a quicker chance at redemption, something San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brian Hoyer is looking forward to following a 12-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday."It was a tough game and now we move on," Hoyer said, according to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area. Eddie Lacy is an easy target.Since he was drafted out of Alabama by the Green Bay Packers in the second round in 2013, the running back's battle with weight has become public knowledge.Just this offseason, after signing with the Seattle Seahawks, his training camp weigh-ins - which were tied to roster bonuses in his contract - made national headlines. The common football fan knows about Lacy's battle with the scale, and they let him know about it."I could pull up my Twitter right now and there would be a fat comment in there somewhere. Like I could tweet, 'Today is a beautiful day!' and someone would be like, 'Oh yeah? You fat,'" Lacy said, according to ESPN's Kevin Van Valkenburg."I sit there and wonder: 'What do you get out of that?'"Lacy revealed that despite losing 22 pounds using P90X workouts last offseason, injuries forced him off his feet and allowed his weight to balloon again. The online comments came back with the pounds."It sucks. It definitely sent me into a funk. I wish I could understand what they get out of it," Lacy said."You just can't shake it. And no matter what, you can't say nothing back to them. You just have to read it, get mad or however it makes you feel, and move on. I could be 225 and they'd still be like, 'You're still a fat piece of s---.'"Lacy has come to terms with the online trolls, who resurfaced after he was a healthy scratch in Week 2."The negativity is always there, whether you're doing good or you're going through a funk," he said.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Sammy Watkins apparently doesn't care about the backlash NBA star Kyrie Irving received for declaring his belief that the Earth is flat.Watkins denounced science and common sense Wednesday, when he said he's a flat-Earth truther, according to Lindsey Thiry of the Los Angeles Times. With the admitted belief, Watkins may begin forming a better bond with quarterback Jared Goff, who admitted on HBO's "Hard Knocks" last year that he doesn't know where the sun rises.Watkins has received just seven targets this season, but has caught them all for a total of 88 yards.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Washington Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor hasn't missed a game since being made a full-time wide receiver in the 2016 season. It's a budding ironman streak he's taking seriously.Pryor tweeted a video to Los Angeles Rams safety Cody Davis that showed replays of Davis' hit on Pryor's knee area following a 9-yard reception.Pryor acknowledged the hit was "not a dirty play," but encouraged Davis and other defenders to aim a little higher on his 6-foot-4 frame.

AFCNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won his 28th AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for his performance in a Week 2 domination of the New Orleans Saints. He threw for 447 yards and three touchdowns in the 36-20 victory and, as a result, owns the most Player of the Week awards in NFL history.Chris Jones of the Kansas City Chiefs earned the AFC Defensive Player of the Week nod after recording four tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception in a 27-20 win Sunday over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Miami Dolphins' Cody Parkey kicked his team to victory Sunday, nailing all four of his field-goal attempts, including a 54-yarder with just over one minute left for a 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Parkey took home the AFC Special Teams Player of the Year award as a result.NFCArizona Cardinals receiver J.J. Nelson was deemed the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week after exploding for five catches, 120 yards, and a touchdown. His 31-yard reception late in the fourth quarter led to a game-tying field goal and the Cardinals went on to a 16-13 overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts.Atlanta Falcons corner Desmond Trufant's interception of Aaron Rodgers and 15-yard fumble-return touchdown earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for Week 2. He joins Ray Buchanan and Brent Grimes as the only Falcons corners to win the award.Punt returner Jamal Agnew cemented a 24-10 victory for the Detroit Lions on Monday night by taking a punt 88 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the game. Covers.com is the biggest and best source for sports betting information, providing unrivaled and original content sports bettors cannot live without.Longtime Las Vegas oddsmaker Peter Korner sizes up this week’s NFL schedule and picks out some of the lines making him go “hmmm...†in Week 3, including a rare situation in which the Browns are actually laying chalk on the road in their Sunday matchup against the hapless Colts and it may not be enough.Cleveland Browns at Indianapolis Colts (+1, 40.5)Cleveland visits Indianapolis this week in a pairing of 0-2 teams both looking for positive signs. If there's one thing to notice about each team thus far, Cleveland has been playing with a bit more fire, but certainly has played superior teams as compared to Indianapolis. Why this line stands at a mere -1 is questionable. Expect this line to move into the -2, -2.5 range before this one gets underway. In a game that will be starving for points (Under 40.5 anyone?), the Browns should dominate this game at the line, as the Colts are certainly not striking fear into anyone’s defensive scheme. Cleveland is supposed to be improving from last season and this is a game they should win. With such a low spread, that’s all you’re asking them to do.The Colts have looked awful so far against the lowly Rams and gave their second game away with some late horrendous play. It’s not the kind of play that inspires a team to improve the following week. The Colts aren’t looking at this game as a “must-win†game. They know they’re in for a long season, but improvements may be their only catalyst. I see this game as a “must-win†for Cleveland who has some expectations riding along in this one.If you like the Browns, get this early in the week. If you somehow see a glimmer of hope with the Colts, wait until Sunday for your best number.Miami Dolphins at New York Jets (-6, 41)Miami visits the New York on a Sunday home opener for the Jets which may prove to be cringeworthy to watch. The Dolphins did not have the luxury of having one game in their pockets when they faced the Chargers last week and yet, pulled out the win in Los Angeles shaking off some rust in the meantime. The Jets fell apart defensively against the Raiders in giving up a whopping 45 points and dropping to 0-2 for the season to start.Usually there’s a good reason for a visiting team to be favored by six points on the road. Either the away team is exceptionally good or the home team is exceptionally not-so-good. I think the latter may be applied here.Though the standing six is a high price tag to lay at first look, you might just be wondering who will exactly take the Jets even at this level? It's hard to see where New York money is going to come in hard and heavy at post. The most likely scenario will be a slow, steady stream of Dolphin cash which should drive this up to the -6 or -6.5 level before this gets underway. Jump on Miami early as you can and wait if you’re a true believer in New York.Oakland Raiders at Washington (-3, 54)On Sunday night, Oakland will be playing at Washington. If you like the Raiders, we’re blessed to have this spread toeing the key three at his point. This, we know, will translate into a number that won’t move for a while. This line was created with perception over true value. Oddsmakers know the threshold of the betting public and the classic marquee matchup on a Sunday night with the home team as the underdog is a strong draw to casual bettors every time. Why make the line higher when you can get the same handle right at -3?The Raiders are playing like they did last year before the Carr injury. Now that’s he’s returned, so has the Oakland swagger. Though this is billed as a high scoring game, most of this should be on the Raiders scoreboard. The key three becomes less a factor the higher the total, when touchdowns reign more than field goals. Oakland has scored 71 points already in two games.

Changes are coming for the New York Giants, according to head coach Ben McAdoo."We can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again. That’s insanity. It’s not working. So, we are going to look to make some changes this week, like we did last week. Maybe it will be a little more drastic this week," McAdoo said in a conference call Tuesday ahead of the team's Week 3 road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants have scored just one touchdown while being outscored 43-13 to start the season at 0-2. However, McAdoo insisted the current roster is better than it's performed."It’s not that we can’t score, it’s that we haven’t scored," the coach said. "That’s what we go to work for every day. We have to go out and we have to find a way to put points on the board, move the chains and possess the ball. We have enough talent in the building to do it. It’s my job to make sure it gets done. Right now, it is a confidence thing. We need to go out and play with confidence. We have to play with more rhythm and again, we are looking forward to a short week to go out and get it done."McAdoo has been calling plays for the Giants' offense since 2014, and he retained those responsibilities after being promoted to head coach in 2016. Nevertheless, his own role isn't immune to the potential changes he's considering."If that means me giving up play-calling duties, that’s something we will look at, that we’ll talk about," McAdoo said. The Giants are passing the ball at the highest rate in the league - on 72.2 percent of all offensive plays - and are the only team to not yet reach 100 rushing yards, amassing just 97 through two weeks. Sophomore running back Paul Perkins is averaging just 1.9 yards per carry thus far.The lack of backfield support is hindering quarterback Eli Manning, who, despite completing 72.9 percent of his passes, has thrown just one touchdown.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. How bad have things gotten in Indianapolis? Two weeks into the season, the Colts own the NFL's worst point differential and are considered underdogs for their Week 3 home game against the Cleveland Browns - y'know, the team that won one game last season. The Colts are in such rough shape that players have taken to uttering guarantees that they won't lose to the Browns."It can't happen, it won't happen," receiver T.Y. Hilton said of the possibility of losing Sunday to Cleveland, ESPN's Mike Wells reports. The Colts were embarrassed 46-9 by the formerly toothless Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, and lost 16-13 in overtime to an Arizona Cardinals club without do-everything running back David Johnson. They can ill afford to be humiliated even further with a loss to a team starting a rookie quarterback and missing the No. 1 draft pick."You definitely don't want to start 0-2, let alone 0-3," said Colts linebacker John Simon. "So it's a big week for us, and we're going to have to prepare hard all week long to play up to the challenge."Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. All rights reserved. The NFL season is only two weeks old, but when you're a highly-paid free agent with big expectations, that's enough time to either win over your new team or get hit with the 'bust' label. Here are five franchises likely having second thoughts about their major free-agent addition:New York GiantsRegret: WR Brandon MarshallAs often is the case with a free agent that's hyped as the final puzzle piece to a unit that's close to greatness, the reality has fallen far short of expectations for the Giants and Marshall. The six-time Pro Bowler, with his size, physicality, and red-zone skills, was supposed to be the perfect compliment to Odell Beckham Jr. Instead, he's caught just two passes in two games with Beckham ailing and the offense struggling - the exact situation the Giants hoped to avoid by signing him.Marshall still has time to recover, but it appears that his 50-catch drop-off from 2015 to 2016 was no fluke. The veteran pass-catcher looks close to done.Chicago BearsRegret: QB Mike GlennonThe Bears inking Mike Glennon to a deal worth $15 million a season was questionable at the time, though it was understandable because Chicago had no other options on the roster. But after giving up a king's ransom to move up for Mitchell Trubisky in the draft, and with the rookie outperforming the veteran during the preseason, the decision to stay with Glennon as starter reeked of Chicago sticking with its original plan solely to justify handing out such a massive contract. Two losses and a three-turnover game later, the Bears' front office and head coach John Fox will soon be forced to hand over the reins to the kid, and also somehow try and explain to ownership why Glennon earned $18.5 million in guaranteed money for a handful of forgettable starts.Minnesota VikingsRegret: RB Latavius MurrayAnointing Dalvin Cook a star after two games is premature, but the rookie has been the Vikings' primary back for a reason. He's looked every bit as electric as he did in college, averaging 5.6 yards per attempt.Murray, meanwhile, only has played nine snaps this season, though he's working his way back to 100 percent after an offseason ankle injury. Still, there's no way Murray supplants Cook, and with Jerick McKinnon the preferred option on third down, the free-agent addition will likely be a $5-million backup this season. In fairness to Minnesota, it appears the team foresaw that Murray might be nothing more than a stopgap starter. The Vikings can cut him after 2017 with only a $1.2-million dead cap hit. Having a stud like Cook should also more than soften the blow of Murray being a disappointment.Cleveland BrownsRegret: WR Kenny BrittThe Browns allowed Terrelle Pryor to walk in free agency and replaced him with Britt, who miraculously put up over 1,000 yards while catching passes from Jared Goff and Case Keenum.Cleveland appeared uneasy with Pryor's mental makeup, but all it's achieved is swapping out one receiver with a questionable work ethic for another, and for a far steeper price.Britt has produced just two catches for 15 yards over two games after signing a four-year, $32.5-million contract, has looked openly uninterested on some plays, and was out-snapped, and out-played, by 2016 fifth-rounder Rashard Higgins in Week 2.Any chance you want a do-over, Cleveland?Carolina PanthersRegret: LT Matt KalilThe Panthers were desperate to improve their offensive line and better protect franchise quarterback Cam Newton this offseason. They must have been, it's the only explanation for why they dropped $55.5 million over five years on Kalil, a former first-rounder who has never come close to living up to his pre-draft hype.In Week 1, facing a unimposing San Francisco 49ers defensive front, Newton was mostly kept clean by his offensive line. However, that changed in Week 2, with the Buffalo Bills going at Kalil all game long and sacking Newton six total times and hitting him another seven. The Panthers chalked it up to a lack of chemistry between Kalil and Newton, but the left tackle is just playing at his usual level. Carolina still has the same problems on the offensive line and a lot less change in the bank.(Photos courtesy: Action Images)Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. All rights reserved.
