Name of Firearm?
I went shooting for the first time with a guy in 2019, but we no longer are in touch. I really enjoyed shooting this but have absolutely no idea what it’s called. Does anyone know? submitted by /u/FixUrPosture
This thing is dumb, and I love it. Chiappa Rhino 50DS.
I picked this up right at the beginning of 2020. It's had roughly 700 rounds through it. The only hiccup being the firing pin stuck on a few primers of one particular ammo. Other than that, the grip is odd, the trigger sucks, the sights are way higher than the bore, and a couple of the screws look like they were cut by hand.. But oh well, I actually enjoy shooting this revolver. It's an absolute tack-driver, and it's generally a good conversation piece at the range. submitted by /u/Lead-and-Strings
Price of Colt 1911 in the 80s
I was hoping someone may remember how much a Colt 1911 went for in the 80s? Some dude on YT is trying to tell people he used to buy them for 15 bucks in the 80s and I know the dude is making stuff up. Hopfully someone will know submitted by /u/Dr__Cryptox

What’s the best handgun storage with kids in the home?
I’m new to guns and have been practicing at the range for the last few months. I’m thinking about buying my first one, but I have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and home and it makes me pretty nervous, especially as they get older. I’m definitely going to teach them both gun safety when they’re older. But in the meantime, what handgun safes can you all recommend? Or some features I should look out for? Thoughts on biometric safes? Separate safes for storing mags? submitted by /u/jackjackj8ck

Best Milsurp WW1/WW2 Firearms to start my collection.
Hey y'all. I have recently become interested in milslurp firearms from WW1/WW2 and would like to start collecting. What would be some good "starter" rifles/pistols to kick off my collection that are easy on the wallet? M1 Garands and most 1911's are going to be out of my price range, but I was thinking a Springfield 1908 or a Lee Enfield would be a good place to start. But I'm also curious about any lesser-known cheaper firearms that may be out there. I don't care too much about matching serial numbers, but I want a reliable shooter that won't blow up in my hands. Any purchase I make will be inspected by a gunsmith first. Thanks in advance for the discussion. submitted by /u/Chapter_Loud

Any Reason to Own Both an MPX-K and an MCX Rattler?
Already have a Rattler. When I bought the Rattler the rationale was that for HD uses the two are basically the same size and the Rattler gives you much more stopping power. Still for some reason drawn to the MPX-K. Have a 9mm hand gun already so picking up an MPXK wouldn't require me to fund another stash of specific ammo. Is it weirdly practical past a certain point to practice with an MPXK to save $ as opposed to plinking .300BO at the range? submitted by /u/CarletonWhitfield

Frangible ammunition 22LR
Does frangible ammo actually work or is it a gimmick? My family owns a 700 acre farm and there's a section of woods my cousin's and I hunt groundhogs and other small game in. I'm concerned with richochet off trees with 22lr. Some of my cousins live about 600 yards away from where we shoot. Granted, it's in thick woods and we don't shoot squirrels up at the tree tops, only shooting into the ground or into trees. Nevertheless, the concept of frangible ammo sounds ideal for what I want to use it for. Small game like squirrels, rabbits, racoons, etc. If one us miss the shot and it hits the corner of a tree or the ground, it's going to explode the bullet like a steel plate would right and not richochet? submitted by /u/newthrowawayforu

Walther PPQ M2 9mm Value
So I have a Walther PPQ M2 and I know they have been discontinued in favor of the PDP, but I wanted to ask is my gun going to lose it's value and will it be harder to find parts for it if it breaks? I also don't know where to go if I wanted to sell it as well if it does lose it's value. submitted by /u/insanityfluff

Can't get this off.
Usually I can get residue off with some Rem Oil but I tried that and even some iso alcohol and can't get this stuff off. Anyone got any tips? Or did it just get hot and burn the coating? On my 365 with the TLR 7 Sub I've never had this issue. submitted by /u/Link-Slow

Finally finished my Aero COP FSB build. Upper is a midlength Aero COP upper with a 16" Faxon Gunner barrel and an F-marked FSB made for a .625" gas journal. I had the FSB pinned by d.wilson mfg.
