Like with February's TicWatch Pro, it'll be shipping with the slightly older Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 instead of the more power-efficient 3100. That doesn't necessarily mean it'll be battery challenged, Mobvoi says the C2+ will last for up to two days. We critiqued the C2 for having mediocre battery life, so it remains to be seen if the C2+ is an improvement over its predecessor.Other than that, it's a pretty standard, albeit well-designed smartwatch. Best answer: Many people should look into getting anti-ransomware software. The extra layer of security can keep their computers secure. Still, there are also a lot of people that will be just fine without it thanks to safer browsing habits and keeping software up to date.Be sure your PC is secure: Kaspersky Security Cloud ($54/year at Kaspersky)Prevention is keyRansomware is software that demands payment in order to remove it from your PC. WannaCry, for example, encrypts most of the files on your drive and demands a payment in Bitcoin to decrypt. Attempting to bypass or remove the software more often than not results in the destruction of your files. Your best bet is to make sure it never gets installed in the first place. Most of these risks can be found early — if you're attempting to visit a risky site, you can receive a warning. Even if a file manages to get on your hard drive, realtime protection can neutralize potential issues before they can become a problem. Kas...

I won't rehash everything that was showcased in the two-hour-long keynote, but these are the features that I'd love to see Google steal from Apple to enhance its wearable platform.Seven watchOS 7 features that Wear OS should adoptI do want to start by noting that Google put in a bid to purchase fitness wearable company Fitbit in 2019. That acquisition is still going through...

Specifically, just how bad Android phone makers are doing compared to Apple's iPhone. And they are doing really bad in comparison.Apple's iOS 14 will be available for a bunch of phones, but what's important is that phones from 2015 like the iPhone 6S and even the original "budget" iPhone SE from 2016 will be getting the update the same day that the brand-new iPhone 11 Pro gets it. That is awesome for anyone who uses those phones. Even Google won't update an Android phone f...

Well, that only took half of forever.Android vs. iOS 14iOS 14 stole these 8 useful features from AndroidiOS 14 took Android's home screenApple could do widgets better than AndroidiPhone apps on Mac could be good for Chrome OSiOS 14 is coming to iPhones released in 2015Google+Fitbit = better than Apple Watch?7 things Wear OS should steal from watchOS Traditionally, here's how new mobile features work: Android adds a functional but somewhat clumsy feature, developers lose interest in said feature in three to five years, Apple refines the feature to mesh with its "simplified" (read: boring) software design and repackages it for iOS, and then the feature is finally embraced and utilized on both platforms. We've seen this time and time again: NFC payments, face unlocking, live wallpapers, the list goes on. But this year, Apple finally copied something that's been on my wishlist for years: home screen widgets.Widgets aren't new to iOS; they've been available for the To...

Joel and Ellie made it out alive, but did they escape danger? The original launch of The Last of Us was a refreshing departure for Naughty Dog. As much as we love Nathan Drake, seeing Uncharted's level of polish, deep storytelling, and rich character development in an entirely different world is richly satisfying. With The Last of Us Part 2 out now, you might be wondering how to defeat certain enemies or where to find training manuals to unlock new skill trees. We've got you covered. In our review, we said that The Last of Us Part 2 is "an outstanding achievement in storytelling with believable, flawed characters, but some of the narrative decisions are sure to be divisive."Ellie is backThe Last of Us Part 2$60 at Amazon$60 at Best Buy$60 at WalmartReturning for one last adventureThe Last of Us Part 2 continues Joel and Ellie's journey on a path of retribution and revenge. The iPhone deserves more than a grid of icons.Apple's latest iPhone software, iOS 14, introduces one of the biggest visual and functional changes to the platform: a redesigned home screen experience with widgets and an app drawer. Like most iOS features from the past 10 years, there's some line that can be drawn to its appearance first on Android. But in this case, Apple's changes to the iPhone's home screen experience are actually directly competitive to what Android has — and in some ways, they're better. One of the oldest tropes in the technology world is how iOS has a "boring" home screen that's just a grid of icons. Well, now that's over: iOS 14 has a robust framework for dynamic and resizable widgets across your home screens, as well as options for deleting home screen pages to house your less-used apps in a separate auto-managed app library.I fully expected iOS widgets to be restricted and basic, but they aren't — they follow most of the same characteristics as Andr...

Smart home assistants don't always come in the form of a speaker. Plenty of options are available with a screen, which adds even more functionality. One example is the Lenovo 10.1-inch Smart Display, and right now the White & Bamboo model is even on sale for just $99.99 at Lenovo. That saves you $150 off its full price and marks the best deal we've ever seen reach this model. Though the discount should appear automatically, you can enter promo code DISPLAY10DEAL if it's not showing up. Lenovo even includes free standard shipping with the purchase. This Google Assistant smart device will work for anyone, but it's especially handy if you're already in the Google Home ecosystem and you don't necessarily need something compact. It's easier for developers and allows Apple to have more control over the supply chain, but the real boon is having apps that work everywhere.Apple announced that it's building new Mac computers using its own A-series processors instead of staying with Intel across its desktop and laptop product lines. That's a pretty big deal and with it will come a slew of changes for developers and users even if Apple says otherwise. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. The one big thing that comes with this move is the ability to use the same apps on a Mac that you can use on an iPhone or iPad. That's something we've seen Google do when it brought the Google Play Store to Chromebooks in 2016 and it has made quite an impact on how we use them. Apple's own chip will be powerful enough for almost any task you can do on a Mac.Of course, the Play Store on a Chromebook isn't without a few problems. Developers have to make decisions about how apps are displayed on a screen that's usuall...

Android and iOS have never been more alike.Apple just held its Worldwide Developer Conference, also commonly referred to as WWDC (or my personal preference, dub dub). This year's WWDC is where Apple showcased iOS 14, which looks to be one of the most substantial iOS updates in quite a while. The home screen is more customizable than ever before, widgets are a thing, and — yes — Apple added an app drawer. If those sound like things Android has had for years, you're right. Apple may talk about some of iOS's features as being revolutionary and groundbreaking, but truth be told, it just looks more like Android than ever before. On that note, here's a quick look at 8 things iOS 14 copied from Android.Jump to:Home screen widgetsApp drawerPicture-in-pictureSet default appsTranslate appApp ClipsNew Siri designApp permissions in App StoreHome screen widgetsiOS 14 ushers in the biggest change to iOS's home screen than ever before, the first part of this revolutio...

Top-flight Italian football continues tonight as Serie A leaders Juventus head to mid-table Bologna. Don't miss a kick of the action by following our live stream guide below.Juventus come into the game off the back of their Coppa Italia final defeat at the hands of Napoli. The Bianconeri will be determined to bounce back from that disappointment and maintain their lead at the top of the Serie A table. Bologna have not played a competitive game since late February with tonight's game part of the return of the Italian top flight.Juve was in great form before the lockdown having only been defeated three times in 2020, even notching a 2-0 win against their Derby d'Italia rivals Inter. They currently sit at the top of the Serie A table by 1 point ahead of league football returning tonight. In contrast, Bologna appear destined for mid-table mediocrity as they sit in 10th spot. The Rossoblù do, however, have a solid home record having only been defeated in the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara f...
