O.J. Simpson plans on living in Florida when he is released from a Nevada prison on parole later this year, but the state's attorney general certainly isn't on board with that idea.In a letter sent to the Florida Department of Corrections secretary Julie L. Jones on Friday, attorney general Pam Bondi urged to tell Nevada officials that Simpson is not welcome in Florida."Floridians are well aware of Mr. Simpson's background, his wanton disregard for the lives of others, and of his scofflaw attitude with respect to the heinous acts for which he has been found civilly liable," Bondi said in the letter obtained by ESPN. "Our state should not become a country club for this convicted criminal."While it's unclear where Simpson plans on living in Florida, his close friend Tom Scotto has offered his home in Naples. The former NFL legend lived in the state prior to his arrest in 2008 on armed robbery, kidnapping, and other charges. He's eligible to be released on Sunday, but there's no definitive timetable on when he will actually be a free man.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi is making history for reasons you wouldn't ordinarily guess.Ajayi will become the first NFL player to have his own Twitter emoji ahead of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, to be hosted at the iconic Wembley Stadium.Typing in the hashtag #JayTrain will lead to an Ajayi emoji, commemorating his return to the United Kingdom. Ajayi was born in London and moved to the United States in 2000.

The rib injury suffered by Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery isn't as bad as originally thought, and he could play Week 5 vs. the Dallas Cowboys, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Green Bay is viewing Montgomery as day to day.The injury was sustained on the first play of Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears, but Montgomery wasn't immediately removed and ran the ball four more times. His night ended with five carries for 28 yards, including a long of 11 yards which came after the injury supposedly occurred. The luxury of 10 days separating the Packers' Week 4 and 5 games could allow Montgomery to return without missing any more than the three quarters he already sat out.Backup running back Jamaal Williams, who was injured on his fifth and final touch of the game, also escaped serious injury, according to Schefter. The Packers finished the game with third-string rusher Aaron Jones playing the majority of snaps, but the team doesn't plan on bringing in any outside running backs between games.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said Friday that there is no evidence to determine that Las Vegas Police used excessive force towards, nor racially profiled, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett during an August 26 incident.Bennett alleged that officers threatened to shoot him in the head while detaining him, after he ran from a Las Vegas casino following the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor boxing match.TMZ obtained footage of a body camera video, which details Bennett's detainment. Three officers detained Bennett, but one of the detaining officers elected not to turn on his body camera."They did what they were trained to do," Lombardo said during a press conference, according to Mike Shoro of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.Bennett is seen on the camera, telling officers "I swear, I didn't do nothing man."Bennett also asks what he's being arrested for, but the officers' response is inaudible.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. He still managed to rack up 84 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries, while adding another 10 yards on three receptions.Matt Breida, who has totaled 55 rushing yards and 23 receiving yards this season, would be in for a significantly larger role should Hyde ultimately be ruled out.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. It's a good thing style points don't matter in survivor pools, because last week's picks of the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots barely pulled off home wins. The Packers trailed the entire game against the Cincinnati Bengals before an Aaron Rodgers touchdown pass tied the affair in the dying seconds. Rodgers would show his brilliance again in overtime, connecting on a deep touchdown to Geronimo Allison for the win.The Patriots needed similar heroics from their own legendary quarterback, as a Tom Brady touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks with 23 seconds left gave the club a dramatic victory.Luckily they both grabbed wins and made it 6-0 on the survivor pool picks for the season. Here's two teams to choose in Week 4 to make it 8-0.Two teams to pickAtlanta FalconsAt 3-0, the Atlanta Falcons are picking up where they left off last season. While they have barely emerged with wins on the road, the AFC South club showed two weeks ago that they are still a dominant home outfit with a 34-23 win over the Packers. The Buffalo Bills roll into town fresh off an upset of the Denver Broncos, but will be in tough to move the ball on the 9th-ranked rushing defense in the league. Buffalo should cause a few problems for Matt Ryan in the passing game, but the Falcons have too many weapons to be threatened by the Bills at home.Cincinnati BengalsUsually it would seem like an absurd idea to select an 0-3 team for a survivor pool pick, but the Cincinnati Bengals are worth a look for this week's action. The Bengals have sputtered to an 0-3 start but looked much better in the overtime loss to Green Bay last Sunday. On the other side, the Cleveland Browns fell to the Jacoby Brissett-led Indianapolis Colts in DeShone Kizer's worst game of his young career. The Bengals' pass rush should be able to wreak havoc on the rookie pivot and cause some turnovers to secure the win.Team to avoidArizona CardinalsThe opponent may be the winless San Francisco 49ers, but there's absolutely no reason to trust the Arizona Cardinals against anybody right now. In two games without David Johnson, the offense has failed to top 17 points, and that isn't likely to change against the 49ers. San Francisco has had plenty of time to prepare for this contest after last Thursday's dramatic loss to the Los Angeles Rams, and it's a short week for the Cardinals who played Monday night. Don't be shocked if the 49ers walk out of Phoenix with their first win on the year.Record: 6-0

The following players were selected at varying stages of 2017 fantasy drafts, and so far, their performance has ranged from adequate to slightly disappointing. However, they're all on the verge of breaking out, and you should target them now while their values are lowest.Keep in mind these aren't going to be easy gets - buying low isn't a matter of offending your fellow fantasy manager by trying to get a struggling top pick in exchange for the guy you just picked up off the waiver wire. After their big Week 4 performances, though, they'll likely be unattainable in any sort of fantasy trade.Jay Ajayi, RB, DolphinsA consensus first-round pick in all 12-team league formats, Ajayi's not alone as an underperformer at his ADP. While he started the year with a 122-yard rushing game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he was dismal in the Week 3 debacle against the New York Jets.Ajayi's touchdown drought should end against the New Orleans Saints, who are allowing 4.6 yards per rushing attempt, with two touchdowns allowed on the ground. Expect the Dolphins to give the ball to the London-born Ajayi regularly as they try to control the clock and limit quarterback Jay Cutler's duties in a potential shootout against Drew Brees' offense.Christian McCaffrey, RB, PanthersThe Panthers are finding more and more ways to get McCaffrey involved in the offense. They played a lot of two-back set in Week 3, though McCaffrey finished the game with 69 percent of offensive snaps played compared to Jonathan Stewart's 44 percent, according to Football Outsiders. The game ended with McCaffrey's place cemented in the passing game after he hauled in nine receptions for 101 yards. The Patriots have allowed seven receptions and 84.3 receiving yards per game to running backs, while ranking 25th in rushing yards allowed.Paul Richardson, WR, SeahawksSeahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is considered a game-time decision due to a groin injury, vaulting Richardson up the depth chart should he ultimately be ruled out.Richardson's still available in the majority of leagues despite scoring touchdowns in consecutive weeks and receiving seven targets in two of three games. Though he's caught just eight of his 19 targets, that's largely the fault of an offensive line permitting far too much pressure on quarterback Russell Wilson. The Colts have allowed a league-worst 20 pass plays of at least 20 yards, increasing the chances that Wilson connects on his desperation throws Sunday.Eric Decker, WR, TitansDecker's being dropped en masse as consistent usage is offering only modest fantasy returns. He's caught 10 of his 18 targets on the season, but has yet to top 50 yards in a single game or score a touchdown. With Corey Davis sidelined again for Week 4, Decker is likely to see a floor of five targets as the No. 2 option to Rishard Matthews. The Texans rank just 25th in Football Outsiders' DVOA against No. 2 receivers, while allowing 6.4 targets and 46.7 yards per game.Cooper Kupp, WR, RamsKupp burst onto the fantasy scene with 76 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut in Week 1, but he's been held to five receptions and 50 receiving yards over the two games since. The sure-handed rookie remains behind both Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods in Jared Goff's pecking order, but he won't need heavy usage to take advantage of a Cowboys defense tied for the fourth-most plays of 20-plus yards allowed this season.(Photos courtesy: Action Images)Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Thank you for your four games of service, Mike Glennon. And that win last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers? Much appreciated. But early in a season that was deemed Glennon's year, it's already well past the time the Chicago Bears turn to rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky.Four days after that upset victory over Pittsburgh - which Chicago largely won in spite of his 101 passing yards - Glennon coughed up four turnovers in a blowout loss to the hated Green Bay Packers. Just a quarter of the way through the campaign, he's committed eight turnovers.Trubisky can't possibly be much worse. In fact, the second overall pick in this year's draft outperformed the fifth-year pro in the preseason.Comp.AttemptsYardsComp. %TDsINTsQB ratingTrubisky365336467.930106.2Glennon264424359.12270.5Going into the season, the plan was to give Glennon $16 million for the year and allow Trubisky to learn from the sidelines. Plans change, however, and the Bears should be turning to Plan B after their starting quarterback's latest performance. It should be noted that Glennon isn't the only one at fault for Chicago's 1-3 record. He had to go forward with one of the most depleted receiving corps in the league - missing his top two options in Cameron Meredith and Kevin White - while the healthy pass-catchers have been plagued by drops and mistakes. The running game hasn't been much better. Jordan Howard ran for 140 yards against the Steelers, but aside from that performance, he's had games of 52, 7, and 53 yards on the ground. The reality is Trubisky will have the same problems. He'll have Kendall Wright, Josh Bellamy, Deonte Thompson, and Zach Miller to throw to, and perhaps even more defenders in the box loading up to stop the run. But he comes with far more upside and the added ability to escape the pocket when it breaks down and create plays with his legs. Now two-and-a-half games behind the Packers in the loaded NFC North, the Bears have little reason to be thinking playoffs in 2017. So there's nothing keeping Glennon under center aside from a preseason promise from the front office.Trubisky was taken well before fellow rookie quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and DeShone Kizer in this year's draft, yet he's had to watch while the others take their lumps. Meanwhile, if there's any player who needs game reps, it's Trubisky, who has just 13 career college starts under his belt.

Warning: Story contains coarse languageSome consider NFL players protesting during the U.S. national anthem to be disrespectful, arguing that it's a slight against those that serve in the military. But for Michael Bennett - one of the league's most outspoken players on social injustice - it's a question of doing "the right thing," regardless of the time or place."There's never a wrong time to do the right thing," Bennett said Thursday, according to Seahawks Wire's Lindsey Wisniewski. "Regardless of where you're at, when there's a time to do the right thing, you do the right thing. No matter where we're at in the world, cooking, doing whatever we're doing at any time, it's always the right time to do the right thing. There isn't a place that you feel we shouldn't do the right thing."Related - Watch: Michael Bennett challenges America to 'treat people better'The Seattle Seahawks' star defensive end pledged to sit for "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the entire 2017 season prior to President Donald Trump's criticism of protesting players, which led to widespread demonstrations throughout the league in Week 3,Bennett offered to sit down with the president to talk about his issues with protesters Monday, and the pass-rusher extended the same olive branch again."I just think that it has to be dialogue between the people who disagree with you and what you believe in to have a conversation about why did he say the certain things," Bennett said. "To be able to have that dialogue is important, I hate to write him off and just have an opinion about him before you get a chance to have a conversation (with him). For me, it's always about that."Bennett made headlines in early September when he revealed he'd been subject to police brutality in Las Vegas on Aug. 26. He alleged that an officer threatened to "blow (his) fucking head off" before ultimately releasing him. The Las Vegas police department referred to Bennett's claims as "obvious false allegations.""Is there really a time that we shouldn't be talking about equality?" Bennett said. "When is there not a time to talk about that? We find the time to talk about the Kardashians. We find the time to talk about fantasy football. But when do we find the time to talk about the realities of America, the realities of being a great human being and figuring out how do we make a better world for our kids."Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Matt Williamson is a former scout for the Cleveland Browns and spent 10 years at ESPN as a scout and co-host of "The Football Today Podcast." Find him on Twitter @WilliamsonNFL.What a difference a season makes. The Patriots won the Super Bowl in February, thanks largely to a stout defense that allowed the fewest points in the NFL during the regular season. Months later, despite adding stars like cornerback Stephon Gilmore, New England has allowed 95 points through three games, second-worst in the league; the Chiefs and Texans both put up more than 30 points on the reeling Patriots, and the Saints managed 20.One thing that is evident: New England's opponents so far have done a great job scheming against the Patriots. We know Andy Reid is an excellent offensive mind, but on opening night, the way Kansas City employed Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce in motion and all over the formation must have been a surprise.Combine that with Kareem Hunt's unexpectedly dominant performance and one of Alex Smith's best outings as a pro, and the Patriots were totally dismantled in a masterfully called game by Reid.Saints coach Sean Payton is also known as an extreme schemer. New Orleans throws a ton at opposing defenses, and Drew Brees orchestrates the entire offense brilliantly. Also, these teams only meet once every four years, and the Saints always put up points in their dome.(Photo courtesy: Action Images)Houston quarterback Deshaun Watson came into last week's game as something of an unknown, and the Texans' coaching staff did an excellent job of playing to the rookie's strengths - namely his athletic ability.Smith and Watson played exceptionally well in those games, but the Patriots' defense still deserves some blame for their strong showings, and even the excellent scheming they've faced doesn't excuse what's going wrong in New England. This defense's base, as it was in 2016, is big nickel with three safeties on the field. The Patriots are able to pull this off because their huge defensive tackles are so good in the run game. However, guys like Malcolm Butler, Alan Branch, and now Adam Butler offer little versus the pass.Deatrich Wise has been a fantastic surprise in his rookie season and Trey Flowers has continued to build on an encouraging 2016 campaign. But beyond these two, the Patriots are getting very little pass rush. That was the case to some degree last year as well - they rushed just three defenders more than any team in the league. But New England's simply giving opposing quarterbacks too much time to throw. The loss of Dont'a Hightower has been significant too. Hightower is one of the Patriots' best, most versatile, and most important defensive players, but he has been sidelined with a knee injury - and the rest of New England's linebackers have been pedestrian at best, with Kyle Van Noy struggling mightily. Van Noy has played every snap this year, which isn't ideal. And finally, New England's secondary has disappointed after looking like it would be among the best in football. It could force itself back into the conversation, but Malcolm Butler, Devin McCourty, and Gilmore haven't played up to their usual level. Again, the lacking pass-rush is a factor, but more should be expected from these three stalwarts. McCourty, usually a rock, had a rough outing against the Texans. It's still early in the season, and the Super Bowl champs sit at 2-1 without a particularly difficult schedule ahead. This is just a hunch, but here's betting that Cam Newton and the Panthers' offense don't explode in Week 4 at nearly the same level as the Patriots' first three opponents.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Three games into the 2017 season, we've only seen glimpses of the dominant ground game that carried the Dallas Cowboys to an NFC East title in 2016.Ezekiel Elliott was stuffed by the Denver Broncos in Week 2, rushing for just 8 yards on nine attempts. And while the star running back had 184 yards in Weeks 1 and 3 combined, he's scored just one touchdown as the Cowboys' offensive line has struggled to open up the same holes it did in 2016 with two news starters - La'el Collins at right tackle and Chaz Green at left guard."We've had a little bit of growing pains in the first couple of games, but we're getting there," Elliott said, according to ESPN's Todd Archer. "We're getting into our rhythm."Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan attributes the lackluster production from Elliott to defenses recognizing and matching the Cowboys' desire to establish the run."When people commit to playing the run, that's the respect they have for our run game, No. 1," Linehan said. "No. 2, they watch the tape on us all offseason. They said, 'Hey listen, they're pretty hard-headed about running the football, Dallas. That's something they're committed to.' So they’re equally as committed to trying to stop it."Elliott believes the offense can do a better job of putting the ground game in a position to succeed by avoiding penalties. Dallas is tied for second in the league in false-start penalties (6) and is second in offsides penalties (4), according to The Football Database."We've just got to do a better job of executing on first and second down," Elliott said. "That's kind of where we've been shooting ourselves in the foot. We've had a lot of penalties early so we find ourselves behind the chains, and that's to the defense's advantage, and we're used to being more comfortable when we get 3, 4 yards on first down then another 4 or 5 on second down so we can convert on shorter third downs rather than being in third-and-long."Elliott has a chance to break out Sunday thanks to a Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams and their 29th-ranked run defense.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Deshaun Watson has already impressed many during his brief NFL career, and perhaps none more so than teammate DeAndre Hopkins. The Houston Texans receiver heaped praise on his quarterback Thursday, comparing Watson to one of the most athletic players in the history of the position."I saw him do it in college, but this is the NFL," Hopkins told Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. "So, of course I'm impressed. I haven't seen a quarterback do that in a long time besides Michael Vick. Of course, everybody in this locker room is impressed."Watson turned in his best game as a pro last week in a loss to the defending champion New England Patriots, throwing for more than 300 yards andtwo touchdowns. The rookie is only three games into his career, but Hopkins believes Watson's dual-threat abilities are something Houston has been missing at the position."That's an element that we haven't had there," Hopkins said. "It gives us a lot of hope knowing that he can make plays with his feet or his arm. He doesn't just look to run first. As a receiver, it gives us confidence to get open. We know he can see all of the field. He's not locked in on just one thing. It's like he's played before in this league. He goes out there and makes plays not just with his feet, but with his arm."Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. All rights reserved. Certain content reproduced under license.

Danny Trevathan's hit on a defenseless receiver is under review for potential discipline from the league, an NFL spokesman informed ESPN's Dan Graziano. The Chicago Bears linebacker struck Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams with a helmet-to-helmet blow to the facemask in the third quarter of Thursday's game. Adams had to be stretchered off the field.Trevathan only drew a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness on the play, as the referee said he "didn't see enough" to warrant an ejection. The NFL approved a rule this offseason that allows for suspensions on egregious hits.Trevathan said after the game that he doesn't believe the hit deserves a suspension.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Could Mitchell Trubisky's NFL debut be imminent?Chicago Bears head coach John Fox indicated after Thursday's loss to the Green Bay Packers - during which Mike Glennon tossed his fourth and fifth interceptions of the season and lost two fumbles - that the team would be evaluating "everything," including its quarterback position."We need to make a lot of changes," Fox said, according to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN. "We will evaluate everything, and we've got a lot of work to do before we line up against Minnesota on (Oct. 9). We are going to look at everything."The Bears have resisted putting Trubisky - the second overall pick in the 2017 draft - on the field, despite him impressing during preseason."Again, Mitch is a young player, four regular-season games into his rookie season in his NFL career," Fox said. "Like I said, we have a big gap here (in terms of Trubisky's experience versus Glennon's). We will look at everything and everybody, not just the quarterback position."Chicago signed Glennon to a lucrative contract in the offseason, and despite the early struggles, Fox continues to support his quarterback."I don't think all of those were Mike's turnovers," Fox said. "Again, there are a lot of people out there that are involved. We had dropped balls. We had penalties. There was plenty of stuff to pass around."The Bears now have a week and a half to make a decision on who starts behind center the next time they step onto the field.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Officials had the jurisdiction, but didn't have the appropriate perspective to eject Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Davante Adams on Thursday night. As the Green Bay Packers receiver was wrapped up in a tackle and rendered defenseless, Trevathan struck Adams with a blow to the facemask that forced him to be stretchered off the field. The play drew a 15-yard penalty, but nothing more.Lead referee John Hussey said after the game that he "didn't see enough" for Trevathan to be ejected."From my perspective, I just didn't see enough to have it rise to that level," Hussey said, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN."The runner's progress - he caught the ball and became a runner - his progress was stopped. He was being stood up. That's when (Trevathan) came in, and what I felt was (Trevathan) came in and hit a defenseless player in the helmet area unnecessarily."Hussey explained the decision to eject a player is a judgment call."I didn't have enough information from my perspective to make that," he said.Trevathan could still earn a fine or suspension for his hit.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. Danny Trevathan is sorry for his hit on Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams, but doesn't think it was deserving of a suspension. The Chicago Bears linebacker laid out Adams with a helmet-to-helmet hit in the third quarter of Thursday night's game that resulted in Adams being stretchered off the field. Afterward, Trevathan insisted he was simply "trying to make a play'" and didn't feel he should be suspended.“We’ll see,†Trevathan said, according to Mark Potash of The Chicago Sun Times. “I don’t think it should be a suspension. But you never know. I’m just going to send my prayers out. My main concern is that he’s OK."“I was just trying to make a play. It wasn’t intentional,†Trevathan added. “I was just trying to hustle to the ball and do my job. Unfortunately, he ended up hurt. I’m sorry about that. And I’m going to reach out to him and send him a message. Because we play a physical game, but you never wish that on anybody.“I regret the level I hit him at. I could have been a little bit better. But you’ve got to understand, I was in a momentum and I was just trying to make a play. Unintentionally it happens in this game. Hopefully they see that … I was just trying to make a play.â€Trevathan was given a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness on the play, but was permitted to stay in the game.Adams was able to give a thumbs-up signal to the crowd as he was taken off the field, and Packers head coach Mike McCarthy stated that everything looked positive regarding the receiver's status after the game.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and the injury-riddled Green Bay Packers converted three turnovers into scores in an eventful 35-14 victory over the mistake-prone Chicago Bears on Thursday night.Rodgers connected with Davante Adams and Randall Cobb on short touchdown passes to help build a 21-0 lead in the second quarter of a game delayed 45 minutes by lightning between the first two quarters. Adams left the field on a stretcher after getting hit in the head during a tackle by Danny Trevathan in the third quarter. He picked apart the Bears on short, quick passes, a game plan in part necessitated by a patchwork offensive line. The Packers played without starting tackles David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga, and their three backup tackles are already on injured reserve. The injury to Adams cast a pall late in the third quarter. The game was delayed for about 5 minutes while medical personnel tended to the receiver, who gave a thumbs-up signal as he was wheeled off the field. The Packers said Adams was conscious and taken to a hospital for evaluation for possible head and neck injuries, and that he had feeling in all of his extremities.Green Bay at least gets a long weekend to rest after another costly week on the field. Both the Packers and Bears were coming off overtime wins Sunday. For Chicago, questions from Bears fans will persist about whether coach John Fox should turn to No. 2 overall pick Mitchell Trubisky at quarterback following another lackluster night for Glennon. The Green Bay Packers injury woes at running back continued on Thursday as Jamaal Williams left the contest against the Chicago Bears with a knee injury and is questionable to return.Williams' injury comes shortly after starter Ty Montgomery was declared out for the game with a chest injury suffered in the first quarter.Should Williams be unable to return, it will be Aaron Jones and Aaron Ripkowski that would likely get the bulk of the carries for the Packers. Regardless, it's probably a safe bet that Aaron Rodgers will be throwing the ball the majority of the time for Green Bay.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. All rights reserved. The Green Bay Packers are in trouble at the running back position as Ty Montgomery left Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears with a chest injury and will not return.Montgomery got off to a hot start versus Green Bay's division rival, running for 28 yards on just five carries before sustaining the injury and heading to the locker room.Sources told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network that Montgomery suffered broken ribs and will not return, but the club has yet to confirm the news.Should Montgomery be out for an extended period of time, the Packers would be woefully thin at running back as no one else on the team's roster has more than five carries this season.Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc. The life of a professional athlete can often be hectic and demanding, but on Thursday Rob Kelley and Keith Marshall proved there's always an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life, even the briefest of moments.Kelley and Marshall, both running backs for the Washington Redskins, made a the day of one young boy with an act of kindness and generosity, by buying him an Xbox during a trip to a local GameStop, according to John Keim of ESPN.The two players were shopping when they noticed the boy asking about the price of a game, and offered to purchase the Xbox after the young boy made sure it was okay with his grandmother."The first thing that clicked in my head was, I always wanted someone to do that for me when I was a kid," Kelley said. "My people couldn't walk into a store and buy me stuff I really wanted, but with stuff going on in your family, some stuff you can't get."I've been in that place where I wanted something and couldn't have it. So it felt good just to be in a position to spare two, three hundred dollars to help a kid out like it's not going to affect me no type of way. Why not? I understand what he's going through."Both Kelley and Marshall posed for a photo with the boy and his grandmother, but Kelley did so reluctantly because he didn't want people to get the wrong idea."That's not what I did it for," Kelley said. "It's cool that everyone knew it, but I'm not trying to promote it. Me and Keith, we didn't want to take a picture because we didn't want to make it seem like we're trying to make it seem like that. We had a conversation for a long time and talked to the GameStop people for a minute. But we wanted to make it known that it was not a publicity stunt."Copyright © 2017 Score Media Ventures Inc.
