Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic isn't expected to be suspended for the headshot that knocked Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton out of Week 7, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Bostic was ejected Sunday following the hit. Dalton flew back to Dallas with his teammates but had no memory of the play, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota.
Sunday Rundown recaps the most important developments from the day's action and examines the significance of those events moving forward.Cardinals top Seahawks in thrillerThe Seattle Seahawks looked like they were cruising to a 6-0 start. Russell Wilson threw for 250 yards in a first half that was chock-full of thrilling plays, and Seattle led by 10 with less than seven minutes remaining. And then Sunday Night Football somehow got even better. The Arizona Cardinals took a field goal off the board after an unsportsmanlike penalty gave them 15 yards, and they were in the end zone two plays later. Then, after a Seattle punt, quarterback Kyler Murray led an eight-play drive that included three spikes, with Zane Gonzalez drilling a 44-yard field goal with no time remaining to force overtime.Gonzalez then missed a 41-yard field in OT, but linebacker Isaiah Simmons picked off Wilson, and Murray soon had the Cardinals in field-goal range again. This time, Gonzalez made it from 48 yards out.Seattle is now 5-1 and remains in first place in the NFC West, but the Cardinals are right behind them at 5-2, with Murray serving notice that Arizona is a team to be reckoned with.Dallas is a disaster Abbie Parr / Getty Images Sport / GettyAfter quarterback Dak Prescott got hurt, the Dallas Cowboys figured they had a rough road ahead, even if it was still possible for them to contend in the NFC East - because the NFC East stinks on ice. Two weeks later, the engine has given out, the wheels have fallen off, and Dallas' entire operation is sitting in a ditch - and all that came before Andy Dalton was knocked out of Sunday's humiliating defeat at Washington. You name it, it's a problem for the Cowboys. An injury-riddled, shaky offensive line? Check. Pedestrian production from running back Ezekiel Elliott? Check. A defense that can't stop a waddling toddler? Check.Dallas was already down 22-3 in the third quarter when Dalton took a cheap shot from Jon Bostic and suffered a concussion. Poor Ben DiNucci - a rookie seventh-round quarterback who once transferred to James Madison because he couldn't start for Pitt - replaced Dalton and had the same number of sacks (three) as pass attempts. DiNucci will likely have to start next Sunday at the Philadelphia Eagles. That game is still scheduled for prime time because the world is a cold, dark place. Also, remember when Mike McCarthy told NBC's Peter King about how he had spent his year away from football doing nothing but eating tape and diving into analytics to get back into coaching? Yeah, well ...
Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap took to social media immediately following Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns to continue his push to get out of Cincinnati.Dunlap posted details similar to a house listing on his social accounts.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton left Sunday's game versus the Washington Football Team after a vicious headshot from linebacker Jon Bostic.Ben DiNucci, who started the season as the third-string quarterback behind Dak Prescott and Dalton, replaced him. Bostic was ejected from the game, while Dalton was later ruled out with a concussion, according to ESPN's Todd Archer.

The New York Giants' embarrassing week might have just gotten worse. The team said Saturday it's aware of a video showing quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley failing to socially distance and wear masks while partying at a bar."We are looking into the nature and context of what is on the video," the team said in a statement, per ESPN.Jones and Barkley - who is out for the season due to a torn ACL - had dinner with some teammates and friends in a private room of a restaurant Friday night, a source told ESPN's Jordan Raanan.Afterward, the two players reportedly were invited to a Manhattan bar, where the video of Jones sharing a drink with a woman was seemingly taken. The video was posted to Instagram by a man who goes by DJ Lugghead, but it was later deleted. In an email sent to NJ Advance Media's Zack Rosenblatt on Saturday, a person claiming to be DJ Lugghead said the video was from last year and insisted the bar in question wasn't open.DJ Lugghead also seemingly posted a photo with Jones and Barkley, who were both maskless.
Upset about his reduced role with the Cincinnati Bengals, Carlos Dunlap posted his team's edge rotations on social media Saturday, writing, "I don't got time for this" in the caption.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren't done adding offensive weapons.Tampa Bay has reached an agreement with free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown on a one-year deal, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The two sides finalized a contract worth slightly over the league minimum Saturday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The deal reportedly contains various performance bonuses.Brown still has to pass COVID-19 protocols, but he's expected to make his Bucs debut against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9.The seven-time Pro Bowler is currently suspended but eligible to be reinstated following Week 8. He reportedly generated interest from multiple teams, including the Seattle Seahawks. The Buccaneers will be the fourth team of Brown's career. The 2010 sixth-round pick spent his first nine NFL campaigns with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was traded to the Raiders, now of Las Vegas, in 2019 but failed to make it to the regular season with the team after demanding a release. The New England Patriots then signed Brown but cut him after just one game due to off-field issues. The 32-year-old has caught 841 passes for 11,263 receiving yards and 75 touchdowns since entering the league. He's played in only one game since the end of the 2018 season, during which he caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady.Brady made a strong push for Brown, according to Schefter.Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians, who was the Steelers' offensive coordinator in 2010 and 2011, said in March that Brown wasn't "a fit in our locker room."The Buccaneers added several high-profile players during the offseason, including Brady, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and running backs Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy.Tampa Bay's wide receiver corps - which features Pro Bowlers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin - is already one of the NFL's most talented.
What a long, strange trip it's been.In a matter of 22 months, Antonio Brown went from a future Hall of Famer with the Pittsburgh Steelers to a late free-agent addition with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also had brief stints with the then-Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots in between. The winding road was long, so allow us to recap it all for you.Dec. 23, 2018: AB's last game with the Steelers Chris Graythen / Getty Images Sport / GettyThe most trouble Brown had caused in Pittsburgh to this point came when he went on Facebook Live and filmed Mike Tomlin delivering an expletive-laden speech after a postseason victory. The Steelers were 8-6-1 and chasing a playoff spot heading into their Week 16 matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Brown had a trademark day in the shootout, recording 14 catches for 185 yards and two touchdowns on 19 targets. Those were his 14th and 15th scores of the season. Few could predict the falling out that soon followed.Dec. 30, 2018: Brown benchedThe week played out like this: Brown was given a "rest day" Wednesday and missed Thursday's practice with what was listed as a knee injury. He was said to be undergoing tests Friday and again did not practice Saturday.Pittsburgh made Brown inactive for the must-win Week 17 contest against the Bengals. Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed he benched AB "due to injury and lack of information" leading up to the game. There were reports Brown threw a football at Ben Roethlisberger during a midweek walkthrough, and that he was set off by JuJu Smith-Schuster being named team MVP. Nonetheless, after nine seasons and a Hall of Fame trajectory, Brown's Steelers tenure was over.Jan. 15, 2019: Arians calls AB a 'diva'Brown's former offensive coordinator with the Steelers, Bruce Arians, weighed in on the drama and made pointed remarks at the receiver."There's too much miscommunication, too much ... diva," Arians said on a podcast. "I've heard so many stories - I like Antonio - he plays as hard as anybody on Sunday, and he practices hard. He's just gotta make better decisions off the field, be on time, do some of those little things."Feb. 5, 2019: Legal troublesBrown was involved in a domestic dispute in early February 2019, though he wasn't arrested in the incident. A week later, he was found guilty of reckless driving. It would be just the beginning of the receiver's legal troubles.Feb. 19, 2019: Steelers, Brown move onAfter Brown met with owner Art Rooney II one final time, both player and team agreed to mutually part ways following the messy end to the 2018 season.
