I ordered this finished rifle for $599 on a daily deal along with a red dot. What do the PSA owners think of theirs? My coworker hypes up one he owns, but is the only person I know with one. Did I get a nice deal? submitted by /u/b_thompson02
The Glock trigger on my G43X is atrocious. I shot the Smith & Wesson CSX and loved the trigger on it but the customization for the gun is lacking. Is there a trigger similar in feel to the CSX but for Glocks? I'm not great on knowledge and technicality. Please take it easy on me. submitted by /u/KONOCHO
This thing was immensely fun to shoot except for the intense smoke that billows out right below your cheek and makes you feel like you just got hit with tear gas submitted by /u/FixFull
I recently purchased the above mentioned firearm and went to sight in today. Prior to shooting, I noticed the bolt would hang up after I full charge on the charging handle and full release. After using the failure button (i.e. forward assist button) I got the bolt to go into battery and proceeded to fire with no problems. After sighting in (which was never achieved due to function problems) and checking casings, I noticed I was having very light primer strikes and was worried about the bolt not going into full battery when firing and decided to pull the bolt out and found that the bolt would not release and twist to engage and disengage the rotating mechanism. I am worried the bolt is damaged and will contact Sig about this problem. But didn’t know if this was happening to anyone else. I was shooting regular Winchester white box M80 ball for shits and giggs to sight in and will use my federal gold match ammo to precisely sight in. I also noticed there is a ton of brass shavings on the ejector and bolt face and around the chamber of the firearm. If anyone can help and see if this is a common issue that’d be great. submitted by /u/tambo417
I went to a lgs on the struggle bus to find an optic, I have astigmatism so that eliminates [see below] -Holsun 512- didn't work -Acog (works with astig however leaves me stuck with rmr/bad imo irons for close -eotech was my next choice as it's the best of the holo but the reticle with two dots is a line and the donut and dot is blurry leaving me with inconsistency when I shoot lpvo not usable without the illumination in my area [trees/woods that are always dark] and the batteries last an hour or so So to my surprise when I picked up a trijicon sro and seen a very clear reticle, would the mro be the same? what are the differences? Can anyone collaborate? Now one caviot I will say I have a romeo 5 that looks bad but when I use the rear flip up sight it corrects the reticle. Does the pro sit at an appropriate height to use it's a big one but thanks for any help. submitted by /u/No_Championship6508
Ok, so the question has come up, but the last time I saw (unless my search was shit, which it could’ve been) was about a year or more ago. I’m looking for a holster for my PSD; I’d prefer a full retention holster that can attach to MOLLE. Can anyone provide any sort of lead? submitted by /u/BeefKnee321
I have an RMSc red dot mounted to my Sig P365XL. This red dot consistently turns off at random times, and will turn off when fired and turn back on when another round is fired. The red dot was just on and working but simply holstering the unholstering the gun has caused it to turn off now. I replaced the battery <6 months ago with a brand new one. This has been the worse red dot I've ever owned by far!! Any one know any fixes? submitted by /u/Ralstoon320
So I've been thinking, Mossberg makes the 590S that can shoot short shells, but the standard 590 can't shoot them without an insert. And even with the insert, you need to remove it to be able to use 2 1/2 inch shells. Looking at the elevator and the bolt, it looks like there is a channel that the elevator falls into when the bolt is closed (circled in red). So here's my idea: would it be possible to replace the elevator with one that has an extended bar to be able to accommodate short shells? No other part of the action needs to be modified. Thoughts? submitted by /u/JesusUnoWTF
Hello. I'd like to purchase a custom made Glock trigger shoe from US. I asked the company if they can ship to Sweden but they said they arent allowed to export to Sweden. It is my understanding that a small part like a trigger shoe is not regulated by ITAR/EAR regulations in the US. It is not a licensed item in either countries aswell. From reading online its my understanding that US company doesnt want to ship out of state because of stuff like extra paperwork even though they are legally allowed to do it for such items. I understand it would be different if it was a licensed part like a barrel. I dont think I'll be able to convince the company itself to help me out however I am wondering if I hypothetically managed to find a civilian in the US who wanted to sell/gift me one second hand and shipping it to Sweden would he be breaking any US regulations? Thanks for help submitted by /u/BasedPolarBear
Managed to find one last week at my LGS. Recently I shot(then bought) one of the new 1985 SBL’s in 45-70. I absolutely loved it. Great accuracy, smooth action, and barely any recoil. After buying the 336 I stopped home, cleaned it, grabbed some ammo and headed to the range. After trying Leverevolution, Deer Season, Powrshok, and American Whitetail, I had similar results as with my Henry Steel 30-30: for whatever reason, the 336 shot the most accurately with the Hornady AW 150 grain ammunition. The action is just as smooth as the SBL, the accuracy with the right ammo is sub-moa, which blew me away because my eyes are terrible and do not like buckhorn irons at all. The trigger is crisp, and the lever, while small even for my hands, functioned flawlessly. The fit and finish of the rifle is nearly flawless, with a slight difference of color between the stock and forend. I’m glad I made the choice to follow up my 1895 SBL purchase with the 336 in 30-30. The 45-70 will be my main rifle when tracking in the Adirondacks, while the 336 will be my deer rifle while hunting my property in Southern Zone NY. This rifle is light, quick to aim, and I am pleased with how Ruger is handling the Marlin line of rifles, and look forward to more variations/calibers that are already on the horizon and possibly the manufacturing line. submitted by /u/Colnew1989

I'm saving up to get my first bullpup and I'm planning on getting one of these first with the eventually goal of owning both 3-5 years down the line. Both guns are similar in prices right now, but my main concern is the current availability and prices of the guns in the future compared to now. If the AUG is more likely to be less available and experience a higher price increase than the Tavor, then I would want to get the AUG first. Anyone with any insight on this? submitted by /u/MooseMouse12
Looking to build an ultra light .223 AR Pistol for hiking in Alaska, mostly for close range bear protection. Off the top of my head I'm thinking polymer lower, 5" barrel, folding stock, flip up sights. This is intended for 50 yards or less. I have a .44 Blackhawk but a single action revolver with 6 rounds vs a charging bear doesn't seem like a good combo. Even with less stopping power I am thinking the .223 would be more of a quantity over quality thing. Biggest question is am I going to run into gassing issues with such a short barrel? I have never built anything sub 8"? Any other issues anyone might see with this build and its purpose? I know there are better firearms out there for bear protection but not any you'd want to haul around 15 miles up mountains. Thanks for any input. submitted by /u/xRicheyx
How thick of steel and do I need a special kind of steel to make targets? Primarily 5.56 - .223 and a variety of handguns will be used on them. submitted by /u/Pure-Hope826

When I practice with a bore laser they hit were I aim. At the range they both hit considerably low. Remington Military and Police FMJ 115 gr practice ammo. submitted by /u/Hamblin113
I've got a sig 365 .380 and I can't figure out what to feed it. My trash ammo inc fmj hits 5-6 inches left of my Hornady jhp at 30ft. Id love it if range ammo and carry ammo could hit the same box. Thinking about buying a case of the fiocci jhp dual purpose stuff, but don't really want to spend 50cpr if it's a bummer. submitted by /u/ZN4STY
I've been looking for a safe for after our upcoming move. I really like good layout and organizing options, and always felt like with traditional safes I had to pull everything out if I wanted the thing in the back. The answer seems a good fit for me. Anyone tried one? Or had good or bad experiences with secureit? submitted by /u/Sparrowflop
The only decent seeming single shots I can find are Henry break actions, and I’d prefer a rifle that doesn’t lose zero every time a cool summer breeze comes down the range. Does anyone make a bolt action single shot these days? submitted by /u/Femboy_Annihilator
I got my hands on a H&R Top break revolver. Off the top of my head I think the manufacturer year is 1987. Was wondering what kind of ammunition to use. Obviously .32 but what type of .32 specifically, done some research and can't find a solid answer. Any info is appreciated! submitted by /u/gahll359
Has anyone tried that MP 9 metal? Im thinking of buying one but I cant seem to find it for rent. I dont feel like spending 900 on a gun I dont like, so im hoping I can get an honest review, instead of YouTube reviews. submitted by /u/International-Ad3269
